United for a sustainable future!

SAFADECO, in successful collaboration with LGU Barangay Salvacion, Bacon District, Sorsogon, and CLIMBS Insurance, came together for a meaningful Mangrove Planting Activity with the theme, “Emphasizing Unity, Environmental Responsibility, and Long-Term Sustainability.”

The activity brought together the dedicated constituents and barangay officials of Salvacion, SAFADECO Head Office staff, CLIMBS officers and representatives, and SAFADECO Board of Director-Member Dir. Myra Bongapat, demonstrating the power of collective action in protecting our environment.

With over 1,000 mangrove trees planted, this initiative marks a significant step toward coastal protection, biodiversity conservation, and a greener, more sustainable community.

More than planting trees, this activity reflects SAFADECO’s commitment to the cooperative principle of CONCERN FOR THE COMMUNITY—promoting sustainable development through policies and programs that benefit not only our members but also the communities we serve. By working together to protect our natural resources, we help build a healthier environment and a better future for generations to come.

Together, let us continue planting hope, nurturing responsibility, and growing a legacy of sustainability!
