Thirty-nine (39) identified TUPAD Workers from Brgy. Salvacion West District, Sorsogon City who are also members of SAFADECO attended the Orientation and Contract Signing today, April 11 2022 held at Brgy. Salvacion, covered court for the TUPAD project with the theme “Kooperasyon Para sa Malinig na Salvacion”.

This Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating mga Displaced/Disadvantaged Workers (TUPAD) project is in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and Brgy. Salvacion West District. This is also in coordination with NATCCO Partylist and SAFADECO.

The activity was facilitated by Ms. Salve Berroy, DOLE TUPAD Coordinator. Ms. Shaira Janoras, SAFADECO Marketing Officer, Brgy. Secretary Ms. Elsa Desquitado and BOD Chairman Rosy Jamisal were also present during the activity.

The TUPAD beneficiaries will undergo a 10 day-work which will commence on April 12, 2022 and will end on April 27, 2022. They are required to complete 4 hours per day of cleaning and gardening in the barangay. The signing of Contract of Service between the 39 Beneficiaries and Brgy. Captain Tita Desquitado of Salvacion were done after the orientation and was followed by the distribution of PPEs.
